We had lunch here, the service was great and the Swedish meatballs and Scandinavian style hot dog were both delicious - highly recommend.

Scandi influenced beautiful food that is delicious either after a stroll in the hills or even after a wander through Grasmeres stores. Cool little gallery next door too. Highly recommend.

A tad noisy but we managed to secure a quieter table close to the window end of the cafe. The coffee was lovely, the food even better. Very different! Good portion sizes, not heavy.

As locals, we love coming here. It turns a rainy Lakeland day into something special. The trout on the brunch menu is outstanding. The cakes and donuts are always a nice surprise. Atmosphere is great. Relaxed and not burdened by table service. The staff are friendly. I appreciate no dogs as it makes the whole atmosphere more relaxing than your usual cafe. There’s a lovely shop to wander around once you are done with food. One piece of feedback, please bring back the pancakes and lingonberry sauce!

Beautiful venue, excellent service and incredible food and coffee. High chairs available for little ones too. Was blown away by this place, its breakfast dishes and the high quality coffee. The setting is sublime, with stunning artwork present throughout and merged with the gallery next door. Grasmere is naturally great and beautiful, but places like this make it even better and we can’t wait to come back.

Delicious cakes and coffee in a light and airy space linked to a shop!/gallery of superb gifts and paintings and prints to soak up after a walk up to the Tarn overlooking Grasmere. Superb stop enjoyed with partner and pals.
